Paper bowls are the improved form of Cotton bowls where the cotton material is filled in the form of paper sheets. These paper sheets are sourced from Europe and are made from fine cotton pulp and mixed with wool to provide the high degree of resilience.
Paper rolls are more convenient to use as these rolls have wool content in them so they are more mark resistant. Unlike cotton rolls, they require lesser amount of conditioning and can be used within 4-6 hours of installation. They are widely used among Textile and paper industry and available in pure paper and wool blended material.
Applications:
Textile Calendar: These rolls are used on Calendar machine against the hard roll to provide the gloss on the fabric and can be used at higher loads and speeds.
Embossing machine: The paper bowl replicates the pattern very well and retains it for the longer time due to the presence of the wool blend.
Paper Industry: The paper roll is preferred on Supercalendar machines as they can run on very high speeds and withstand higher heat compared to cotton.
Benefits and Advantages:
Ease of Operation: The paper roll can be put to use within 4-6 hours of conditioning.
Higher operational loads: Paper roll can be subjected to higher loads compared to cotton rolls which produces more gloss and machine can run at higher speeds.
Mark Resistant: Due to the presence of the wool, the paper roll is not easily indented by the selvedge or crease.
Lesser Grinding: Paper roll requires less grinding frequency as paper is stronger than the airlaid fibers in the cotton roll.
Higher Temperature Resistant: Paper roll can work at high temperature as well without burning.
Pattern Retention: Paper roll can hold the pattern very well and when required it can be switched to new pattern with less efforts and time.
